Vikram Singh Chauhan’s next show gets a title

Just yesterday we reported that popular television actor Vikram Singh Chauhan, who has been a part of hit shows like Jana Na Dil Se Door and Ek Deewana Tha, has bagged his next show as the male lead.

To be produced by one of the leading television producers Gul Khan under her banner 4 Lions Films, the show has been commissioned by Star Plus.

The latest update on the show is that after finalizing Vikram Singh Chauhan to play the male lead, the makers have now locked its official title. If reliable sources are to be believed, the show has been titled Rajmahal.

Talking about the female lead, we hear that actress Aditi Sharma has been roped in to play the part. The actress was most recently seen in Colors’ Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, which received a lot of flak for its bold storyline.

Though nothing much is known about the storyline of the show at the moment, insiders reveal that it will be a family drama, but with a twist of horror.

Supernatural shows are doing wonders on Indian television currently. It looks like Star Plus wants to make hay while the sun shines.

An official announcement is awaited.

UK becomes key hurdle for Paramount's £81 billion Warner Bros. Discovery takeover

  • The UK government is considering intervening in Paramount Skydance's proposed £81 billion ($110 billion) takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery.
  • Ministers want to assess the deal's impact on media plurality, news diversity and streaming services.
  • Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery have until July 6 to respond before a decision is made.

The Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger has cleared several major regulatory hurdles around the world, but the proposed £81 billion ($110 billion) deal is now facing fresh scrutiny in the UK. The British government is considering intervening on public interest grounds, raising the possibility of further delays to one of the largest media transactions in recent years.

The potential intervention centres on concerns over media plurality, news diversity and the future of television and streaming services available to UK audiences. If ministers decide to proceed, the transaction could face a more detailed investigation despite already receiving approvals in markets including the US, China, Australia, Germany, France and Saudi Arabia.
