Vicky Kaushal quashes the rumours of stepping out of the house during the lockdown

There were rumours doing the rounds that Vicky Kaushal stepped out of his house during the lockdown and he was caught by police officials. However, recently, Vicky took to Twitter to inform his fans and Mumbai police that he has not stepped out during the lockdown.

The actor tweeted, “There are baseless rumours suggesting that I broke the lockdown and got pulled up by the cops. I've not stepped out of my house since the lockdown started. I request people not to heed the rumours. @MumbaiPolice.”


Well, there were tweets on the social media that a Bollywood actor stepped out of his house to meet his alleged girlfriend and was caught by police officials, and lectured by them. It was assumed that the tweets were for Vicky and looks like that’s why the actor decided to post a clarification on it.

He will next be seen on the big screen in Sardar Udham Singh. The film was slated to release on 2nd October 2020, but has been postponed to 15th January 2021.

The actor was supposed to start shooting for Takht this month, but due to the coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown, the shooting of the Karan Johar directorial has been postponed. Apart from Sardar Udham Singh and Takht, Vicky also movies like Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw biopic and The Immortal Ashwatthama in his kitty.
