Ranveer Singh has been in the Hindi film industry for more than eight years, and in this short period of time he has been a part of a number of successful movies that have put Bollywood on the global map. Here are five such movies.

Padmaavat: The historical drama saw him teaming up with Deepika Padukone. Ranveer played the character of Allaunddin Khailji and people loved him in his villainous avatar.


Bajirao Mastani: It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed Bajirao Mastani was one of Ranveer’s best films till date. Ranveer essayed the role of Bajirao Peshwa, and for the film, he once again teamed up with his ladylove, Deepika. Priyanka Chopra essayed the role of his wife.

Simmba: The Rohit Shetty-directed movie is the official Hindi remake of Telugu movie Temper. The film follows Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, the character essayed by Ranveer, who decides to change his corrupt ways after tragedy strikes those near him.

Band Baaja Baarat: The 2010 film set in the world of wedding planning is Ranveer’s first Hindi feature film. film starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. It is Singh's Hindi film debut, and is also the directorial debut of director Maneesh Sharma. The film is a love story set in the world of wedding planning.
