Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3 blocks the date for theatrical release

Baaghi (2016) is one of the most successful action franchises of Bollywood. The makers have released two instalments of the series to date and both performed extremely well at the box-office, raking in huge moolah for all stakeholders.

Now, after the thunderous success of Baaghi and Baaghi (2018), producer Sajid Nadiadwala is set to begin work on Baaghi 3, the third instalment of the series, which was announced weeks before the theatrical release of Baaghi 2 earlier this year.

Today, the makers unveiled the first look of the film featuring Tiger Shroff in an angry avatar. Besides launching the first look, the makers also announced the official release date of the action entertainer.

Headlined by Tiger Shroff, who also toplined in the previous two parts of the franchise, Baaghi 3 will hit the marquee on 6th March, 2020. “And round 3 is on! Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 3 will be out on 6th March 2020. This one’s for you, Baaghians. ??”, wrote Tiger Shroff on Twitter.

While Baaghi and Baaghi 2 starred Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani respectively, Baaghi 3 is yet to lock its female lead. There were reports that newcomer Sara Ali Khan was approached for the role. However, when the actress was asked about the same in one of her recent interviews, she quashed all rumours.

Baaghi 3 will be directed by Ahmed Khan who also helmed the second part of the franchise. The film is jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios.
