Thugs Of Hindostan falls prey to online piracy within hours of release

Yash Raj Films’ ambitious movie Thugs Of Hindostan, headlined by Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has been leaked online within hours of hitting theatres worldwide on 8th November, 2018.

The mega-budgeted film has been leaked by the infamous piracy website TamilRockers. Not only the Hindi version but the Tamil and Telugu-dubbed versions of the movie have also been leaked on the internet.

Though the makers are yet to take any action against the website, a group of some film enthusiasts have written to the authorities, requesting them to take legal action against the website for flouting piracy laws, according to reports.

Made on an approximate budget of ₹ 300 crore, Thugs Of Hindostan is the costliest Bollywood film ever. It has raked in ₹ 52.25 crores on its opening day. But since the movie has received extremely poor reviews by critics, the chances of its growth in coming days seem slim. And now with the entire film getting leaked online, it is bound to incur heavy losses for the makers.

Thugs Of Hindostan is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
