Sushant Singh Rajput & Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive to be deferred again?

Speculations are rife that Karan Johar’s much-delayed film Drive, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, might be postponed once again. The film has already faced innumerable delays in the past and, if insiders are to be believed, another deferment is on the cards.

Reportedly, producer Karan Johar is not happy with the way the film has shaped up. This is not the first time when Karan has expressed his dissatisfaction with the final product. In the past also, director Tarun Mansukhani, who made his directorial debut a decade ago with Dharma Productions’ 2008 film Dostana, has incurred Johar’s displeasure twice.

According to a source, “Karan has already sent back the film for re-shooting twice. But even after director Tarun Mansukhani re-shot portions of Drive, Karan was unhappy. At the moment, the future of the film seems uncertain because Karan is not willing to release it the way it has shaped up now.”

Drive is scheduled to hit the silver screen on 7th September. But if Karan sends the film for re-shoot again, a new release date might be announced soon.
