Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor to team up

Sushant Singh Rajput, who wrapped up Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath a couple of days ago, will next work with filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari. The project, to be bankrolled by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, was announced a few weeks ago.

Recently, there were reports that Kriti Sanon, who has previously worked with Sushant Singh Rajput on Raabta (2017), is expected to play the female lead in the untitled movie. However, the news turned out to be false later.

The latest we hear that the makers are in talks with Haider (2014) actress Shraddha Kapoor. As soon as the actress signs the project on the dotted line, her name will be announced officially.

"The film’s makers are still working out modalities with Shraddha, who will sign on the dotted line as soon as the terms are locked. That is the reason they haven’t announced the female lead yet. As for Kriti, she is definitely not in the film as of now,” a source reveals to an Indian daily.

Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor is currently busy with Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy Stree. She is also shooting for Sujeeth’s Saaho opposite Baahubali star Prabhas.
