Sridevi has a sequence in Zero, not a song, clarifies Aanand L Rai

There have been a lot of reports about late actress Sridevi's song in Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming film Zero. Besides Sridevi, actresses like Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also said to be a part of the much-awaited number.

However, director Aanand L Rai has now clarified that his movie does not include any song featuring the late veteran actress and that the special appearance in question is not a song but a proper sequence.

During an interview, when Aanand L Rai was asked about the song featuring Sridevi, he said, “That’s a wrong information. It’s not a song, it’s a part of a sequence. People are saying it’s a song but it’s not. Including all other actresses, you will see Sri ma’am in it.”

Zero, also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is slated to hit screens on 21st December 2018.

The Aanand L Rai directorial, written by Himanshu Sharma, reunites Shah Rukh Khan with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif after a gap of five years. The trio was last seen together in acclaimed filmmaker Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012.
