SONY TV to axe Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya

The Sony Entertainment Television show Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, which beamed its first episode on 7th November 2017, is all set to bid adieu to the audience.

Starring Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar and Rohit Suchanti in principal roles, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya was the continuation of Pehredaar Piya Ki which was pulled down after a lot of hue and cry over its storyline showing a grown-up woman married to an 11-year-old boy.

However, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya never received any positive response from the audience. Ever since its launch, it has been slinking at the TRP charts. The makers tried their best to improve its rating by introducing new characters and interesting plot twists at regular intervals, but nothing worked in its favour.

Now, the channel has, reportedly, taken the final call. We hear that Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya will air its last episode on 25 May 2018, making way for a new series, titled Zindagi Crossroads.

Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya is produced under the banner of Shashi Sumeet Productions.
