Sonam Kapoor starrer The Zoya Factor books a new release date

As was expected, Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film The Zoya Factor has been postponed again. Earlier scheduled to hit the marquee on 14th June, the movie has been pushed to a new release date.

Also starring Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, The Zoya Factor will now buzz into theatres on 20th September, 2019. Fox Star Studios, the corporate house backing the project, took to social media to share the new release date of the film.

"The date may have changed, but the game hasn't. The Zoya Factor will hit cinemas on September 20, 2019. Starring Sonam Kapoor & Dulquer Salmaan, directed by Abhishek Sharma,” wrote the makers on their official Instagram account.

As the title of the film suggests, The Zoya Factor is a film adaptation of popular author Anuja Chauhan's best-selling novel of the same name. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma, who has previously helmed successful films like Parmanu: The Story of Pokharan (2018) and Tere Bin Laden (2010).

Sonam Kapoor, who plays a very strong character in the film, also took to her Instagram account to share the new release date of the film. The diva wrote, "We're back after the strategic timeout. Catch The Zoya Factor in cinemas on September 20, 2019."
