Sonam Kapoor signs Battle Of Bittora

According to reports, Sonam Kapoor has signed a new film, titled Battle Of Bittora. She will start shooting for the new venture right after wrapping up her on-going movie, The Zoya Factor, also starring South Indian sensation, Dulquer Salmaan.

Battle Of Bittora will be based on well-known author Anuja Chauhan’s popular book of the same name. The makers have been slowly working on the project since 2016, but an official announcement is yet to be made. However, if some reports are to be believed, the film is set to mount the shooting floor in 2019.

Apart from buying the rights for Battle Of Bittora, the makers at Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network have also bought the rights for Krishna Udayasankar’s novel Govinda, a mythological three-part series.

However, the adaptation process on the book will commence after some time because the makers are yet to finalize whether they want to make a film on it, a digital series or television show.

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor will next be seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga set to enter theatres on 1st February. The Vidhu Vinod Chopra-directed film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
