Sidharth, Tara and Riteish confirmed for Milap’s Marjaavaan

Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh, who first collaborated on Ekta Kapoor’s 2014 suspense thriller Ek Villain, are joining hands once again for filmmaker Milap Zaveri’s next directorial venture, titled Marjaavaan.

Joining them on the cast will be newcomer Tara Sutaria who is set to make her Hindi film debut with Karan Johar’s hotly anticipated movie Student Of The Year 2, co-starring Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff.

Marjaavaan is a violent, dramatic love story. The movie will be bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani who also produced Milap Zaveri’s recent blockbuster Satyamev Jayate (2018), starring John Abraham.

Talking about Marjaavaan, Advani says that audiences’ expectations are high because almost everyone associated with the movie has delivered a big hit in the past. “This time too, the expectations are high as Sidharth and Riteish have delivered a huge hit in the past. Also, with Milap at the helm post the confidence he has gained from Satyameva Jayate and his strength in the dialogue and drama department, we are confident we have another winner. Tara joining the team just adds to the freshness and excitement. Her character is one of the USPs of the film,” says Nikkhil.
