Sidharth Malhotra on 4 Years of Kapoor & Sons: Had the craziest time while shooting for this film

Shakun Batra’s Kapoor & Sons starred Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film was about a dysfunctional family and how things change for the family members when secrets about each other are out.

Kapoor & Sons completes four years of its release today and Sidharth took to Instagram to share a behind the scene video of the movie. He captioned the video as, “Had the craziest time while shooting for this film and it still brings back these amazing memories! #4YearsOfKapoorAndSons @aliaabhatt @fawadkhan81 #RishiKapoor #RajatKapoor #RatnaPathakShah @shakunbatra @karanjohar @apoorva1972 @dharmamovies.”


Karan Johar, who had produced the movie, also tweeted about the film. He wrote, “The family that made everyone laugh, dance, weep, find strength and celebrate with them - the Kapoors! Kapoor & Sons was also one of the first mainstream films in which the lead actor portrayed the character of a homosexual. Fawad Khan played the role of a gay man in the movie. It was Fawad’s last Bollywood film as a lead actor.

Meanwhile, director Shakun Batra is currently busy with his next directorial which stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Sidhanth Chaturvedi. The film is slated to release on Valentine’s Day next year.
