Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero Smashes All Records of Digital Views

As expected, the trailer of megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s hotly anticipated movie Zero has inflamed the internet. Within days of its release, it has toppled all existing records of digital views.

Also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in principal roles, Zero had its grand trailer launch on 2nd November, the same day when Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 53rd birthday, which added a lot to the buzz.


Within 24 hours of going online, the trailer of the film clocked 54 million views from various corners of the world, breaking the record for the most viewed Indian film trailer in 24 hours. The numbers continued soaring up on the following day as well. Resultantly, the trailer of Zero had a total of 85 million views in 2 days across all platforms.

Toughing new heights, Zero trailer hit 100 million views on the fourth day of its release, crashing records for the highest number of views for any Indian film trailer in less than 96 hours.

Bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, Zero is helmed by Aanand L Rai directorial. The movie is set to roll into cinemas on 21st December 2018.

Saif Ali Khan has spoken about stepping away from wedding performances, saying the mix of wealth, access and social circles makes him uncomfortable. The actor said in a recent interview that the shift began years ago, after a relative questioned why he was dancing at a private event.

Saif Ali Khan remembered being backstage in Mumbai when his father’s sister walked up and said she could not believe he was dancing at a wedding. The remark stung, and it stayed with him. He said that some actors see themselves as entertainers and are happy to turn up, take the fee and move on. However, he has stopped feeling that way.
