Second schedule of Laxmmi Bomb to begin in August, confirms Tusshar Kapoor

Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who is turning producer with the upcoming horror-comedy Laxmmi Bomb, has confirmed that his film is on track and the team will commence the second schedule of the much-awaited horror-comedy in August.

Laxmmi Bomb, which is a sequel to hit Tamil film Kanchana (2011), features superstar Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film has gone through a lot of controversies in the past few weeks due to which its first schedule got a little delayed.

However, Tusshar Kapoor has just confirmed that his team is on track and now there is no issue. “I am not commenting much on it though everyone has been asking me. We are on track and there is no issue at this point. I am looking ahead for it to be a great film,” said the actor-turned-producer.

Adding further, Kapoor says that it was his long-cherished dream to make this film, which has now come to fruition now. “Laxmmi Bomb is in production and we shall begin our second schedule in August. It is my first production and I become tongue-tied when I speak about it because it has been a dream for me to make this movie. Now that dream is coming true, I just hope that it gets made the way it should be and people love it.”

Laxmmi Bomb is being directed by well-known South Indian actor and filmmaker, Raghava Lawrence. He has been the face of the entire Kanchana franchise down South. Laxmmi Bomb marks his entry in Bollywood.

The Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer is set to roll into cinemas on 5th June, 2019.
