Shootout at Lokhandwala starring Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan released in 2007. The film was written by Sanjay Gupta and directed by Apoorva Lakhia. It was a super hit at the box office and the makers decided to create a Shootout franchise.
In 2013, the second instalment of the film titled Shootout At Wadala had hit the screens. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the movie starred John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. Well, moviegoers have been waiting for the third instalment of the Shootout franchise, and Sanjay Gupta has started writing it.
The filmmaker took to Twitter to inform everyone about it. He posted, “Can you imagine spending your day between looking after six kids all under ten & trying to write your next biggie that involves a shitload of research? SHOOTOUT 3 - The Gang Wars Of Bombay. You better be worth it!”
Meanwhile, Sanjay Gupta’s next release will be Mumbai Saga which stars John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi and Kajal Agarwal in the lead role. The film is slated to release on 19th June 2020.
A few weeks ago, the first look of John and Emraan from the film was unveiled and it had received a good response. We are sure fans of both the actors are super excited about the film.
