Clashes have always turned out to be extremely detrimental to Bollywood films and incurred heavy losses, but yet filmmakers don’t deter from releasing two big films, featuring two stars, at the same date. 2017 started off with a clash between Raees and Kabil, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan respectively. While Kabil put up a great show at the ticket window, Raees failed to pull in the kind of collection a Shah Rukh Khan film should fetch.
