Salman Khan wants Bobby Deol back as a Greek God

After helping Bobby Deol kick-start his second inning in Bollywood with his mega-budgeted action entertainer Race 3, megastar Salman Khan will continue keeping the Soldier (1998) star under his wings.

We have already reported that right after the release of Race 3, Khan is planning another film for Bobby Deol where he will star as a solo hero. In his latest interview, Salman Khan says that he is personally looking into the script and director for Deol’s next. He also adds that the untitled movie will bring Bobby back as a Greek God.

"I am personally looking into the story and locking the director for the film. The script will bring Bobby back as a Greek God. Back in the day, Bobby was fondly called ‘Jattallion’ by friends. It was a grand way of describing him, a good-looking and charming star. And that’s what we will bring him back as. The production will be well-timed, will have the right budget and a complete mass appeal. Action and dance will be taken to the next level too. If Bobby thought he worked hard for Race 3, he doesn’t know what’s coming," says the superstar.

Meanwhile, apart from Race 3, Bobby Deol has another big-ticket film in his hand - Housefull 4. To be helmed by Sajid Khan, the multi-starrer film already has Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the cast. It goes on floors soon. Deol also stars in his home production, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, with father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol.

Race 3, starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala, hits screens on 15th June, on Eid.

  • Signals a broader change in how leading actors balance scale, time and motherhood

A quiet announcement, a visible shift

When Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared news of their second pregnancy, the announcement itself was understated. A single image of their daughter holding a pregnancy test, accompanied by emojis, replaced the elaborate reveals that often surround celebrity milestones. The tone was personal, but the timing points to something larger unfolding.

No pause, just a different pace

For years, pregnancy in Bollywood has meant stepping away, followed by a carefully timed return. Padukone’s current phase suggests that pattern is shifting.
