Saif Ali Khan’s Baazaar to hit screens on 26th October

Saif Ali Khan’s much-delayed film Baazaar, which was earlier scheduled to hit screens in 2017, will now release on 26th October. The new release date has been announced by Nikkhil Advani, the producer of the film.

“Baazaar chalu che!!!” Excited to announce our next in born, in bred and in house chokras step into the world. @gauravvkchawla you’re up!!! @EmmayEntertain @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @KytaProductions @Viacom18Movies @BaazaarFilm #Oct26,” wrote the producer on his Twitter account.


Directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, Baazaar is a stock market-themed thriller. Besides Saif Ali Khan, the movie also stars Chitrangda Singh, Radhika Apte and Rohan Mehra. Rohan is the son of late actor Vinod Mehra, who makes his acting debut with the flick.

Aside from Baazaar, Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in the widely acclaimed Netflix series Sacred Games, will also be seen in producer Aanand L Rai’s Hunter, which is being directed by Navdeep Singh.

Buzz also has it that Ajay Devgn has approached Khan to play the second lead in his forthcoming war drama, Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.

The studio is launching two newcomers in Bollywood after what’s being called its largest-ever talent hunt, which spanned more than 500 auditions from across India. The aim, insiders say, is to find raw, authentic performers, not familiar surnames.
