Radhika Madan calls co-star Irrfan Khan ‘magic’

Last seen in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2019), Radhika Madan is extremely excited about her forthcoming film Angrezi Medium. The project, bankrolled by Maddock Films, has been making headlines even before being officially announced and for all the right reasons.

In Angrezi Medium, Radhika Madan shares the screen space with National Award-winning actor Irrfan Khan for the first time. Khan, who has not been seen in any film in the past year because of his ill health, is set to charm us all again with his nonpareil acting chops in the forthcoming movie. Besides Radhika and Irrfan, Angrezi Medium also has Kareena Kapoor Khan in an important role.

Radhika Madan says that Irrfan Khan was magic on the set of the film and made the entire process effortless. “It was the easiest project for me because acting is all about reacting to someone's performance. Irrfan sir was magic on set and made the process effortless. I got to learn so much merely by observing him.”

The actress also says that she wants to do projects which make her jump with excitement.  “I lucked out in the movies. I am a terrible planner, so I am leaving my career to the universe. I want to pick projects that make me jump on my bed with excitement,” says Radhika.

Angrezi Medium, as the title suggests itself, is a sequel to the 2017 satirical film Hindi Medium, starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in principal roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the sequel is directed by Homi Adajania. The makers are yet to announce the official release date of the film.
