Priyanka Chopra says yes to Krrish 4

Contrary to reports that Priyanka Chopra was not willing to star in the fourth instalment of the successful Bollywood superhero series Krrish, we hear the magnetic star has given her nod to be a part of the franchise.

The sci-fi Krrish series started off with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003. Priyanka played the female lead in the second and the third instalments of the series opposite Hrithik Roshan. And if reports are to be believed, she will continue with the fourth instalment as well.

“Priyanka has definitely given them the green signal for the next instalment of the Krrish franchise. She was a part of the first two Krrish films, and when Rakeshji sounded her out about Krrish 4, she happily agreed to do it,” a well-placed source divulges.

The source goes on to add that initially, producer-director Rakesh Roshan was not sure whether or not the actress would like to be a part of the film after gaining so much success in the West.

“Since she’s such a big global star now, Rakeshji wasn’t sure if she would want to be part of a desi franchise in which she doesn’t play the main character. But Priyanka’s association with the Roshans goes back a long way.”

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is shooting for her forthcoming Hindi movie The Sky Is Pink. Besides her, the Shonali Bose-directed film also stars Farhan Khan and Zaira Wasim in prominent roles.
