Prasthanam teaser: Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, and Jackie Shroff leave us with high expectations

After coming out from the prison, Sanjay Dutt has starred in films like Bhoomi, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Kalank. All three films failed to make a mark at the box office. However, Dutt has some interesting films in his kitty and one of them is Prasthanam.

Today, on his birthday, Sanjay Dutt launched the teaser of Prasthanam with a lot of fanfare at an event in Mumbai. He took to Twitter to share the teaser with his fans. The actor tweeted, "Witness the war for power with #Prasthanam! Proudly presenting the #PrasthanamTeaser - bit.ly/PrasthanamTeas… In Cinemas on 20th September 2019. @mkoirala @bindasbhidu @ChunkyThePanday @alifazal9 @AmyraDastur93 @satyajeet_dubey @chahattkhanna #DivinaaThackur.”

Apart from Sanjay Dutt, Prasthanam stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Ali Fazal, and Amyra Dastur. The teaser is good, but Sanjay, Manisha, and Jackie leave us with high expectations as their performance is the highlight of the teaser. After watching Prasthanam teaser, we can say that this is surely a role Sanjay Dutt fans would love to see him in.

By the way, Prasthanam is a remake of a Telugu film with the same name. It was directed by Deva Katta who has also helmed the Sanjay Dutt starrer. The Telugu film starred Sharwanand, Sai Kumar, Sundeep Kishan, and Ruby Parihar. It received thumbs up from the critics and was a semi-hit at the box office. It will be interesting to see what response the Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala starrer will get at the box office. Well, Sanjay Dutt is not just starring in the film, but he has also produced it.

Prasthanam is slated to hit the screens on 20th September 2019. It will clash with Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer The Zoya Factor. Both films are of a totally different genre, and even the audience is quite different. While Prasthanam looks like a massy film, The Zoya Factor has a classy feel to it.

  • The case highlights the growing challenge posed by AI-generated misinformation.

Graham Norton's legal victory against Meta is attracting attention beyond the entertainment world. The broadcaster successfully obtained a court order in California requiring the social media giant to disclose information that could identify the operator of an anonymous Facebook page accused of spreading false claims and deepfake content about him.

According to court filings, the account published fabricated stories about Norton's health, his husband and even falsely claimed that his mother had died. While the case centres on a high-profile television personality, its wider significance lies in what it could mean for others facing similar online attacks.
