Paras Babbar bags Village Boy Productions' next

Last seen in Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya, popular television actor Paras Babbar has bagged a new show, which will be produced by Village Boy Productions. The show, which is tentatively titled Peehar, will be a daily.

Besides Paras, the makers have also roped in model turned actress Ruma Sharma to play the female lead in the show. Though Sharma has been part of many television shows in the past, it will be the first time when she plays the main protagonist in any soap.

Buzz has it that the show will be completely shot abroad and is being made for an international platform. “Most probably, it will be a foreign show and won’t be aired on Indian television, “reveals a source.

The source informs that the show is expected to mount floors by the month end of January or by the first week of February. It is being written and produced by well-known television writer-producer Raakesh Paswan.
