Mission Mangal new promo Yeh Sindoor: It is a perfect tribute to the women of India

Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen and Sharman Joshi is surely one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie is based on ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also known as Mangalyaan, and focuses on the women who worked for the successful mission.

The trailer has clearly made the audience curious to watch the film and now, the makers have launched a new promo of the film that is dedicated to the women of India. Akshay took to Twitter to unveil the promo. He tweeted, “Jitna uncha ho asmaan, yeh sindoor utni door tak jaayega! Here’s celebrating the women of India who make dreams come true! @taapsee @SonakshiSinha @vidya_balan @TheSharmanJoshi @menennithya @IamKirtiKulhari @Jaganshakti @foxstarhindi #HopeProductions @tanishkbagchi @azeem2112.”

The promo showcases all the actresses of the film and there are some wonderful lines that are mouthed by Akshay Kumar in the background. For example, ‘Mangalsutra gale mein hai aur Mangal pe hai nazar gadi. Bharat ki beti ki udaan kal sara jag dhorayega, yeh sindoor dur tak jayega…’

Mission Mangal is surely an inspiring story that we are keen to experience on the big screen. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the movie is slated to release on 15th August 2019. The tagline of the film is, ‘This Independence Day, The Sky Is Not The Limit’.

John Abraham starrer Batla House is also slated to hit the screens on 15th August 2019. Both Mission Mangal and Batla House are inspired by true events. It will surely be interesting to see which film will win the box office race. Last year, on Independence Day also it was John vs Akshay at the box office. Satyameva Jayate and Gold had released on the same day and both the films had done quite well at the box office.

Britain’s fruit bowl could be at risk as climate change hits the countries it relies on

  • Around 40 per cent of Britain’s food is imported, including 80 per cent of its fruit.
  • The UK is already seeing domestic crops affected by heatwaves, drought and wildfires.
  • Researchers warn climate pressures could make fresh food more expensive and harder to secure.

Britain is increasingly exposed to that risk because it relies heavily on imported fruit and vegetables, including from countries that are themselves facing growing pressure from rising temperatures, drought and extreme weather.

Around 40 per cent of the UK's food is imported, according to a new report from the Food Foundation. The figure rises to 80 per cent for fruit and 47 per cent for vegetables, leaving Britain particularly dependent on overseas growers for some of the fresh foods people buy most often.
