Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee plan to get married amid lockdown?

Life has gone for a toss after the world came to know about the Coronavirus and the World Health Organization declared it a pandemic. The spread of the COVID-19 has resulted in mass wedding cancellations throughout the world.

Actors Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee were set to get hitched on 15th April, 2020, but the couple had to call off their wedding due to the lockdown. However, they are still planning to get married on the aforementioned date, albeit without any celebration and mass gathering.

“We are hoping to have a registered marriage on April 15, but it depends on the lockdown situation. In case it does not work out, we will postpone the wedding by 10 days. Let’s see how things go.”, said Verma.

He goes on to add that Puja and he are soulmates and marriage is just a signature. “My mother was very excited about the wedding and had shopped for the entire family. Ideally, she wants our shaadi to be complete with band, baaja and baraat. My heart breaks to see her dreams not getting fulfilled, but I don’t want to wait for a few more months. Puja and I are soulmates and marriage is just a signature, but the sooner it happens, the better.”, Times of India reported.

Banerjee and Verma got engaged three years ago in 2017. Finally, the couple was set to get married on 15th April, 2020, but the Coronavirus seems to have played a party pooper. We hope the couple walk down the aisle soon.
