Khandaani Shafakhana trailer: This Sonakshi Sinha starrer talks about an important topic in a light-hearted way

In India, talking about sex openly is not less than a crime and of course, we don’t really have many movies that talk about the sexual disorders faced by the people of the country. In 2017 release Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Ayuhsmann Khurrana’s character suffered from erectile dysfunction. The makers in a very light-hearted manner showed the whole issue in the film. And now, in 2019 we have Khandaani Shafakhana that will once again have the protagonist talking about sexual disorders.

The film stars Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role and the makers have released the trailer of the film. While in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan things were shown with subtlety, here our protagonist, a girl, is shouting her lungs out while talking about sex without thinking ‘log kya kahenge’. Well, thankfully that is something new in Bollywood and Sonakshi deserves applause for taking up a role like this.

The trailer of Khandaani Shafakhana is funny and has some really good moments. The dialogues in the trailer are interesting and hilarious, for example, “Puri duniya mein 17% aabadi wale hum, aur baat toh aise karte hai jaise 130 crore log prasad wale kele khake prakat hue hai.

Sonakshi Sinha is looking beautiful and we can say that we will get to see a confident performance from her in the movie. But it is Varun Sharma and Badshah who steal the show. Yesterday, in the trailer of Arjun Patiala also it was Varun who impressed us a lot and here too his comic timing is amazing. Badshah makes his acting debut with the film and he seems to be quite good. The music in the trailer is impressive and as there’s Badshah we can expect a chartbuster song in it.

Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, Khandaani Shafakhana is slated to release on 26th July 2019. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. The movie will be clashing at the box office with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya and Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Arjun Patiala.

Eurovision in turmoil as Spain Ireland and Netherlands threaten withdrawal over Gaza conflict

Highlights:

  • Spain leads a growing boycott movement, with Ireland, the Netherlands and Slovenia also refusing to participate if Israel competes.
  • The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is in crisis talks, extending its decision deadline to December 2025.
  • The situation draws direct comparisons to Russia’s exclusion in 2022, creating a precedent the EBU must now navigate.
  • The core dilemma pits Eurovision’s non-political ideals against the stark reality of a humanitarian crisis.

The Eurovision Song Contest, that glitter-drenched annual spectacle of pop and unity, is staring into the abyss. The escalating call for a Eurovision boycott over Israel's participation, against the backdrop of the ongoing Gaza conflict, has put the organisers into their most severe political crisis yet. This isn't just about another song entry but a fundamental clash between the contest's cherished apolitical fantasy and the inescapable geopolitics of the real world, threatening to tear the competition apart from within.
