Hrithik Roshan’s revenge drama Kaabil set for Chinese premiere

After Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Irrfan Khan and Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan has emerged as the next Bollywood superstar who will soon make his debut in China. Yes, you heard that right!

Hrithik Roshan’s 2017 film Kaabil, which also starred Yami Gautam in the lead role, is set to hit theatres in China on June 5, 2019. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the revenge drama released alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s much-publicised gangster film Raees in India and turned out to be a big money-spinner at the box-office.

Now, it is going to woo audiences in China. Though Kaabil was a box-office hit in India, it will be interesting to see whether or not it manages to recreate the same magic in the neighbouring country.

Announcing the release date of the film in China, well-known film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter handle, “Kaabil to release in China on 5 June 2019... Here’s the poster for the local audience.”

Kaabil, produced by Rakesh Roshan, will be Hrithik Roshan’s first release in China. The superstar will next be seen in much-awaited Super 30.
