Hindi Medium 2 to be planned only after Irrfan Khan returns India

Bollywood is buzzing with rumours of Hindi Medium 2, a sequel to the Irrfan Khan and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar starrer dramedy Hindi Medium (2017).

A couple of days ago, there were reports that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have been approached to star in the sequel along with Irrfan Khan.

However, if sources close to the makers are to be believed, all reports are nothing but mere rumours. Work on Hindi Medium 2 will kick-off only after Irrfan Khan returns India from his medical treatment in London.

“There is no Shah Rukh, no Kajol, and no Hindi Medium 2 at the moment. Even Irrfan, who played the lead in the original, is uncertain. We will carry on with the idea of a sequel when Irrfan returns from his medical treatment,” a source close to the development reveals.

Looks like fans will have to wait really long for Hindi Medium 2.
