Freddy Daruwala to make digital debut with a ZEE5 original

ZEE5, an emerging digital platform by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, is busy churning out one exciting project after the other.

The digital platform recently hit a home run with the massive success of the Saqib Saleem starrer Rangbaaz and the latest we hear that yet another thriller series is in the works at ZEE5 and actor Freddy Daruwala has been roped in to play a pivotal part in it.


Freddy, who entered filmdom with A.R. Murugadoss’ superhit film Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty,  was most recently seen in multi-starrer Race 3 (2018). The ZEE5 original will mark his digital debut.

The thriller drama still remains untitled. It will be bankrolled by Altis Media. Besides Freddy Daruwala, Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan is also making his digital debut with the same series. Tanuj Virwani and Ayub Khan have also been signed on to play significant roles.

Sydney Sweeney says she is committed to choosing films that will "impact and hopefully save people's lives" as she promotes her latest psychological thriller The Housemaid.

The 28-year-old American actor, who has appeared in two films this year addressing domestic violence, The Housemaid and boxing biopic Christy told the BBC she takes "a lot of care" when portraying such sensitive roles.
