Dharmendra debuts on Twitter, sons Sunny & Bobby welcome him!

Evergreen actor and the original He-man of Bollywood, Dharmendra has debuted on Twitter. The actor, who has starred in over 100 films in his career spanning across five decades, was never on any social network before.

Dharmendra made his Twitter debut on Tuesday by sharing two photographs of himself from the sets of his next film Yamla Pagla Deewana 3. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for the third instalment of his superhit film franchise, Yamla Pagla Deewana, took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Your love has encouraged me to come closer to you... So, here is me, from the sets of Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se... New beginnings, shoot mode, Hyderabad."

So, was it Dharmendra's own decision to come on Twitter or someone else persuaded him to join the social network? Well, let us tell you that it was his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol who convinced the veteran actor to make his Twitter debut.

Two days later, Sunny took to his Twitter handle and welcomed his father. "Me and Bob eventually succeeded in getting Dad here... Welcome Dad," Sunny Deol wrote. Not just his sons, but his grandson Karan Deol has also started following his grandfather on the micro-blogging website.

Karan will soon be making his film debut with a film titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. To be directed by his father Sunny Deol, the film derives its title from one of Dharmendra's hit songs, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas from the film Blackmail.

On the other hand, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are also coming up with the third part of Yamla Pagla Deewana. Titled Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, the movie also stars Kajal Agarwal and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles.
