Dhadak, starring newcomers Janhvi and Ishaan, starts rolling

The one film that has been hogging all the limelight in the past few months is none but Karan Johar's upcoming venture Dhadak, featuring newcomers Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.

After a lot of suspense, the movie was announced a couple of weeks ago by Dharma Productions' head Karan Johar. The latest update on the project is that it has finally gone on floors. Ishaan and Janhvi have started shooting for the film in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Today, Shashank Khaitan, the director of the film, took to Instagram to share a picture of the film's script, captioning it, "Let's Do It". Khaitan has previously directed superhit films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

Dhadak, which is an official remake of superhit Marathi film Sairat helmed by Nagraj Manjule, was earlier scheduled to go on floors in mid-December but surprising everyone the makers have started shooting the film almost half-month in advance.

To be co-produced by Zee Studios and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Dhadak is scheduled to release on July 6, 2018.
