Recently, there were reports that Deepika Padukone has come onboard to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious film Gustakhiyan after Priyanka Chopra walked out of the project at the last moment.

To be directed by Jasmeet Reen, the film is based on the lives of literary giants Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam, and Deepika was rumoured to be essaying the character of Amrita Pritam in it.
