Dabangg and Simmba to have a box office clash

Buzz has it that megastar Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh might clash with each other at the box office this December as their films Dabangg 3 and Simmba respectively are expected to release on the same date.

Reportedly, Dabangg 3 was expected to hit the silver screen during the Christmas weekend of 2018. However, some media outlets report that Salman Khan has asked brother Arbaaz Khan, who is producing the film, to defer it from the Christmas weekend to some other date as he does not want his movie to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Zero which is slated to release on 22nd December 2018.

In case the makers of Dabangg 3 decide to come on 28th December instead of 22nd December, it will clash with Rohit Shetty's forthcoming directorial Simmba which is headlined by Ranveer Singh. Though both projects have been announced officially, none of them has gone on the floor as yet.

As we all know that Dabangg 3 and Simmba both are cop films, so it will be interesting to see which of the two races ahead at the cash counter if they really collide on 28th December.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is shooting for his next film, Race 3. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, has commenced shooting for Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt.
