Confirmed: Salman Khan to continue hosting Bigg Boss

Bigg Boss is undoubtedly one of the most popular reality shows on Indian television, which has seen several successful seasons over the years. However, the last season of the controversial show, which concluded earlier this year, failed to attract the kind of eyeballs the show is known to get.

After Bigg Boss 12 ended, rumours started doing the rounds that Salman Khan would not return as a host for the next season. When Colors confirmed the arrival of Bigg Boss 13 some time ago, one question that everyone had on their mind was: Will Salman Khan return to host the latest season?

If you too had the same question in your mind, let us tell you that the answer is ‘yes’. Salman Khan is set to host Bigg Boss 13. The superstar has himself confirmed the news, putting all the rumours to rest and said that he is hosting the show.

"I wish it were true but I'm doing it," said the superstar when asked about rumours of him not hosting the upcoming season.

From what we hear, Bigg Boss 13 is coming up with a lot of changes. The biggest one of them is doing away with commoners as the commoners in Bigg Boss 12 failed to bring in required masala and TRPs.

"This decision has been taken after the debacle from last year, where the choices of the commoner participants were questioned blatantly," a source reveals.

Even Salman Khan does not personally like the format of having commoners onboard. "I don't enjoy it. Endemol and Colors enjoy picking up people and putting them in the house who I have to then deal with. Sometimes I enjoy it. Sometimes I don't enjoy it, not at all. But I get to learn a lot from them,” said the superstar.

Salman Khan is presently busy promoting his forthcoming film, Bharat.  The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, also featuring Katrina Kaif, releases on 5th June.
