Chhichhore to get postponed to avoid clash with Saaho?

It was a couple of days ago when the makers of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho decided to shift the release date of their film from 15th August 2019 to 30th August 2019. The makers stated that they decided to do this as they don’t want to compromise on the quality of the film. It is also said that the release date was shifted because the makers didn’t want their film to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House.

Well, on 30th August also Saaho won’t get a solo release as there’s Chhichhore and Made In China slated to release on the same day. However, if reports are to be believed, the makers of Chhichhore are planning to shift the release date a week later on 6th September 2019. A source told a portal, “Yes, in all likelihood the release of Chhichhore will be pushed by a week since Saaho which was slated to release alongside Mission Mangal and Batla House shifted to August 30. Because of this shift, Chhichhore will face competition at the box office and to avoid this, the makers of the film are contemplating delaying its release by a week to September 6.″

Saaho and Chhichhore, both the films have Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. If the clash is not avoided then it will surely be quite a pressure for Shraddha to promote two films simultaneously.

Well, while we wait for an official confirmation from the makers of Chhichhore, the spokesperson of the film said, “As of now there is no update on the postponement of Chhichhore. As and when the makers take a call an official announcement will be made.”

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Chhichhore has an ensemble cast and apart from Shraddha, the film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, and Nalneesh Neel.
