Bappi Lahiri and Usha Uthup team up after 3 decades for Sab Kushal Mangal

Bappi Lahiri and Usha Uthup are known for their amazing collaborations in songs like Koi Yahan Aha Nache Nache, Rambha Ho Ho Ho and Tu Mujhe Jaan Se Bhi Pyaara. Now, around after three decades, the two legendary singers have once again teamed up for a song in Akshaye Khanna, Priyaank Sharma, and Riva Kishan starrer Sab Kushal Mangal.

While talking about how he got both the legendary singers together for the song, music director Harshit Saxena stated, “I remember the day when lyricist Sameer Anjaan and I went to Bappida’s bungalow and sang the song for him. We had not made the antara till then. Bappida loved the song he even suggested a few tunes for the antara. When we told him we would like to rope in Usha Uthup too for the song, he was elated and immediately called up Ushaji and sang the song to her on the phone. Adjusting the scale of both the singers was a challenge, but we managed that well. I’m so glad we could bring these two legends together.”

Well, the makers have launched the audio of the track and the video is yet to be released. It is surely a treat to listen to Bappi Da and Usha Uthup’s vocals in a song after a long time.

Sab Kushal Mangal will mark the debut of Priyaank Sharma and Riva Kishan. While talking about the debutants, director Karan Vishwanath Kashyap stated, “Both Priyaank and Riva are extremely hard working. Though both of them come from illustrious backgrounds, they went through the same drill that any newcomer to the industry would. I auditioned them both and if I didn’t think they suited their characters, I definitely wouldn’t have cast them in the film. They both have done such a fantastic job in the film that you have to see it believe it. I have no doubt that they both have bright futures ahead of them.”

Sab Kushal Mangal is slated to release on 3rd January 2020.

UK faces criticism over AI use in migrant age checks

BRITAIN's plan to use artificial intelligence (AI) to assess the ages of asylum seekers has sparked concern among human rights groups, who warn the technology could misclassify children as adults and deny them vital protections.

The government intends to introduce facial age-estimation technology in 2026 to verify the ages of migrants claiming to be under 18, particularly those arriving on small boats from France. Officials say the move will help prevent adults from posing as children to exploit the asylum system.
