As Sadak 2 goes on floors, Alia Bhatt is feeling petrified

Mahesh Bhatt is donning the director’s hat after a gap of around two decades. He will be directing his two daughters, Pooja Bhatt, and Alia Bhatt in Sadak 2. While he has helmed many films starring Pooja, this will be for the first time when he is collaborating with Alia. Recently, the shooting of the film kickstarted and Alia took to Instagram to share the picture of the film’s clapboard. She wrote that she will start shooting for the film soon and she is feeling petrified about it.

Along with the picture of the clapboard, Alia wrote, “Today is Day 1 of Sadak 2. And that's my father, now also my director, holding the clap. I begin shoot in a few days and honestly, I’m petrified. I feel like a tiny mouse trying to climb a beautiful, immense, emotional mountain. I hope I make it to the top and if I fall I hope I’m able to get up again. It’s a tough climb but from everything I’ve seen and everything I’ve heard, I know every single step and misstep will be worth it! Here's to movies, family, dreams and starting out on a brand NEW journey! And what a journey it’s going to be!!!!”

Sadak 2, is a sequel to 1991 release Sadak, and also stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. The film is slated to release in March 2020.
