Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol welcome a baby boy

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol got married in 2016 and now, after four years of their marriage, the two have turned parents of a baby boy. Amrita and Anmol were blessed with the child on Sunday.


According to PTI, the actress’ spokesperson in a statement said, “Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy this morning (Sunday morning). Both the mother and baby are healthy and doing well. The family is ecstatic and both Amrita and RJ Anmol thank everyone for their wishes and blessings.”

Last month, Amrita announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a picture of a baby bump and captioned it as, “For YOU it’s the 10th Month... But for US, it's THE 9th !!! ? ??? Surprise Surprise ..Anmol and I are in our NINE'th month Already !! Too excited to share this good news with You my Fans ? And Friends ( sorry had to keep it tucked in my Belly All this long ) But It's True ... the Baby is Coming Soon ?... An exciting journey for me, @rjanmol27 and our Families... ... Thank you universe ? And thank you ALL Keep blessing ??... #2020baby #2020mom #2020parents.”

Farah Khan, who had worked with Amrita in Main Hoon Na, tweeted, “Many congratulations to @AmritaRao &@rjanmol on the birth of their baby.. happiest news in a long time.”

Amrita was last seen on the big screen in Thackeray in which she played the role of Meena Thackeray. The actress is known for her films like Ishq Vishk, Main Hoon Na, Vivah, Welcome to Sajjanpur, and others.

The Nandini Reddy-directed drama, which releases on June 19, has attracted strong interest from buyers across theatrical and non-theatrical markets. According to the producers, all major rights deals were finalised before release, allowing the film to recoup its costs without relying on box-office collections.
