Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan & Dhanush to join forces?

Aanand L Rai has been trying really hard to put his next directorial offering together. The renowned filmmaker last helmed Zero (2018), starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead role. The movie was expected to set the box-office on fire, but it tanked without a trace upon its release. Rai has been working hard on getting his next started after the debacle of Zero, but nothing seems to be working in his favour.

According to reports, the filmmaker is planning to direct a two-hero movie. While he has already roped in Dhanush for the lead part, locking the actor for the extended cameo is turning out to be quite a tough task for him. Sara Ali Khan is also attached to the film as the female lead.

The latest we hear that Rai has approached superstar Akshay Kumar. Rumours are doing the rounds that Kumar has agreed to do an extended cameo in the movie. A popular entertainment portal reports that he has given his dates to the filmmaker despite his chock-a-block schedule.

Khiladi Kumar, who is riding high on the huge success of Good Newwz (2019), is looking forward to four releases in 2020. He will shortly be seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop-drama Sooryavanshi. Also starring Katrina Kaif, the movie is scheduled to release on 27th March, 2020. His next release will be horror comedy Laxmmi Bomb alongside Kiara Advani. It arrives in cinemas on 22nd May, 2020.

The superstar is also working on Yash Raj Films’ period drama Prithviraj. Co-starring former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, the high-profile film is currently being shot in Mumbai. Bachchan Pandey is also gearing up for production.
