Ajay Devgn to have more screen time in Total Dhamaal!

It's not a secret anymore that the makers of Dhamaal film franchise are coming up with the third instalment titled Total Dhamaal.

Initially, the makers wanted to retain the original cast in the next part as well, but Sanjay Dutt, who was the most prominent face of previous two instalments of the series, walked out of the project at the last minute and the makers had to look for another actor to fill into his shoes. They finally zeroed in on Ajay Devgn.

Some reports suggest that the actor did not have a very prominent role when he signed the film a couple of months ago. But after the runaway success of his recent film Golmaal Again, the makers of Total Dhamaal have decided to extend the length of his role in the movie.

According to a source, “It’s true that Ajay’s role has been extended by 10-15 days in Total Dhamaal so now instead of 30, he will shoot for 40-45 days more. He is the main lead in the film, something like the Golmaal series. And his remuneration has increased too. Ajay has shown his brilliance in comedy recently in Golmaal Again which is a blockbuster. Initially, his role in Total Dhamaal was one of a highly specialized appearance but now his role will be there throughout the film. It’s the kind of role that Sanjay Dutt had played in the earlier in Dhamaal and Double Dhamaal. Ajay’s role is a quirky one and his character is pivotal to the film. It’s something similar to what he had done in Masti as he takes the cases of Arshad, Ashish and Riteish in a very tongue-in-cheek manner. Ajay liked the way his role has shaped up, it was specially written for him keeping Ajay in mind. He immediately agreed when Indra Kumar approached him to extend the number of days of shooting required. The film will be shot in Uttar Pradesh from December 15 this year”.

Director Indra Kumar also says, “It is Ajay Devgn’s film and his role is simply outstanding! He is there right from the beginning to the end and it’s a full-fledged role like Sanjay Dutt had earlier in the last two Dhamaals. We are doing a recce in UP and Lucknow and will start shooting for the film with Ajay from December this year”.

Besides Ajay Devgn, Total Dhamaal also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Ashish Chaudhary. No female lead has been finalized as yet.

'You' season 5 reviews: Critics react to Joe Goldberg’s bloody final chapter with mixed responses

Netflix’s You has always sparked strong reactions, equal parts addictive and absurd, and its fifth and final season stays true to that legacy. As Joe Goldberg bows out in this last chapter, the critical response has been a mix of intrigue, exhaustion, and reluctant admiration. Here's a breakdown of the overall verdict.

A slow start that eventually pays off?
The final season has been widely described as sluggish in its early episodes, bogged down by repetitive family drama surrounding Kate’s aristocratic and scheming relatives. The beginning feels a bit slow and hard to get into, but many agree that a mid-season twist helps inject some long-overdue energy. Once the narrative picks up, it becomes more engaging, if not exactly fresh, with enough momentum to keep viewers curious about how Joe's story will unravel.

Pedro Pascal criticise JK Rowling over her anti-trans views calling it ‘heinous loser behaviour’

Pedro Pascal isn’t staying silent. The Last of Us actor has sharply criticised JK Rowling after she celebrated a UK Supreme Court decision that defines “woman” in legal terms as only referring to biological females, a ruling that has sparked outrage across the globe.

Rowling, who helped fund the legal campaign that led to the verdict, celebrated the moment with a photo of herself on a yacht, drink in hand and cigar between her fingers, captioned: “I love it when a plan comes together.” Her post came across as a victory lap for a verdict that many see as a blow to trans rights, particularly for trans women, who now risk being excluded from single-sex spaces.
