After co-star Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor to also have his wax statue

What a coincidence it was! Hours after Deepika Padukone announced that she would soon get a wax statue of her own at Madame Tussauds museums in London and New Delhi, her Padmaavat co-star (2018) Shahid Kapoor also announced the same news.

Yes, Shahid is also set to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. However, the actor has yet not disclosed at which museum of Madame Tussauds he is going to have his statue at. He just shared a photograph on his social media to confirm the news.

Talking about Kapoor’s upcoming film projects, the actor will next be seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The social drama movie is helmed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) fame and stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam as female leads.

After Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shahid is expected to commence work on the Hindi remake of popular South Indian film Arjun Reddy (2017).
