Aayush Sharma’s debut film Loveratri to roll in Gujarat!

Salman Khan announced the debut vehicle of his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, just yesterday and now other important details have started pouring in about the project. Titled Loveratri, the film goes on floors in February and will be extensively shot across the state of Gujarat, with a Navratri backdrop.

Director Abhiraj Minawala spills the beans while talking about how he thought of roping in Aayush for the film, “Having interacted with Aayush on set, I thought he perfectly fit the part of a Gujarati boy who falls in love while dancing the garba during Navratri. I asked Salman Sir if we could test him and he immediately agreed.”

Minawala adds that currently, his team is on a final technical recce in Gujarat. “Logistically, it is not possible to shoot during Navratri but we hope to whip up the same magic. Right now we are on a final technical recce. Aayush is undergoing language training as we don’t want him to get the dialect or accent wrong. He’s also taking dance classes as he needs to master garba. We will kick off only when he has perfected his moves.”

Though no female lead has been cast as yet, speculations are rife that a new face will be taken onboard opposite Aayush Sharma.

To be produced by Salman Khan, Loveratri will be the fifth venture of his production firm, Salman Khan Films.
