Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar releases exactly 10 years after Taare Zameen Par!

Aamir Khan Productions' upcoming film Secret Superstar has created a lot of buzz among the audience. The trailer and songs of the movie have received an overwhelming response from the audience and the makers are confident that the film will strike the right chord with everyone upon its release.

The film is in the news for many things, but do you know that Secret Superstar will hit screens 10 years after Aamir Khan’s production house Aamir Khan Productions released Taare Zameen Par, featuring Darsheel Safari in the lead role.

The 2007film revolved around an innocent young boy named Ishaan Awasthi. His terrific performance caught the attention of the audience and the actor made a place for himself in everyone’s hearts. The brilliantly told story of the dyslexic kid is still fresh in our minds. The unusual concept backed by a strong script and sterling performances got the audience applauding across quarters and the film ran for many months in cinema halls.

Exactly 10 years later, this year in 2017, the same production house Aamir Khan Productions is all set to present Secret Superstar to the audience. While Taare Zameen Par got us teary-eyed with the emotional story of Ishaan, Secret Superstar is striking chords with the audience with the story of a young girl chasing her dreams. Both the films focused on the problems of young kids.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao under the banner name of Aamir Khan Productions, Zee Studios, and Akash Chawla, Secret Superstar is written and directed by Advait Chandan. The film hits screens on October 19.
