Aamir Khan down with flu, King Khan attends Satyamev Jayate Water Cup on his behalf

Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao, who were to attend a prize distribution ceremony in Pune on Sunday, being hosted by the actor's social venture, Paani Foundation, had to give the event a miss as the couple were suffering from high fever all of last week. 

Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao are down with H1N1 influenza and are undergoing treatment for the same at home. Aamir was scheduled to appear at an event organized by his NGO Paani Foundation. The 'Dangal' actor said on Sunday via video conferencing from his Mumbai residence, "Kiran and I would be home quarantined for the next one week. We have got swine flu, which is highly infectious. It also spreads very fast. We are going to stay indoors so that we don't spread the infection to others." The actor's spokesperson said both have been taking medicines at home and are recovering. To fill in for Aamir's absence, 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' actor Shah Rukh Khan made his way to the event. Shah Rukh expressed his gratitude to Aamir and Kiran for giving him the opportunity to stand in for them. 


Aamir expressed regret for not being able to make it to an event that he had been working on for a year.

National Trust brings Pokémon into the outdoors

The National Trust is turning some of its best-known gardens and estates into Pokémon adventure zones this summer with the launch of new family-friendly trails across England and Wales.

Beginning on 23 May during the May half-term break, the Pokémon-themed activities will run at 14 National Trust properties, including Speke Hall in Merseyside and Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire.
