Aalisha Panwar quits Ishq Mein Marjawan

Aalisha Panwar, who rose to instant fame after playing a dual role of Tara and Aarohi in Colors’ Ishq Mein Marjawan, has decided to quit the popular show. The actress has been playing both the characters ever since the launch of the show nearly two years ago.

Confirming her exit from the show, Panwar told an entertainment portal, “It has been almost one and a half year journey on this show. It has become a home for me. I used to spend 12-15 hours regularly here and now when I will be gone, I am going to miss all of them - my team, my makeup room, the Ishq Mein Marjawan team, the staffs and every little thing attached with the show.”

Ishq Mein Marjawan stars television heartthrob Arjun Bijlani as the male lead. Actress Nia Sharma also essays an important character on the show. Now all eyes will be on the actress who replaces Aalisha Panwar on the show.

Ishq Mein Marjawan is produced by Yash A Patnaik under Beyond Dreams Entertainment.

Water demand sparks questions around shoot logistics

The upcoming pan-Indian film Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu, has reportedly run into a logistical challenge ahead of a key shooting schedule. According to reports, the production team sought a substantial number of water tankers for an underwater sequence being prepared at a specially constructed set near Gaganpahad in Hyderabad.

It is claimed that around 150 tankers, each carrying 10,000 litres, were requested from the city’s water authorities. However, the request was reportedly turned down due to ongoing summer shortages and increasing demand for drinking water across Hyderabad. There has been no official confirmation from the makers, though the reports have circulated widely online.
