Anushka Sharma surprised everyone with her role in NH10. It was something that we didn’t expect from the actress, but she nailed it as Meera in the film giving us goosebumps in every scene. This one has to be her best performance to date.

Sultan

Anushka is one actress who has made a mark even in movies that starred superstars. Anushka carried the role of Aarfa, a female wrestler, in Sultan effortlessly. From getting the nuances of a wrestler right to speaking in the perfect Haryanvi accent, Anushka was the perfect choice for Aarfa.

Pari

Who could have thought that Anushka Sharma would try her hands on horror genre too? But in Pari she gave a fantastic performance and was praised a lot. She also produced the movie and was appreciated to back a film with such a different concept.

Sui Dhaaga

Last in our list is Sui Dhaaga. For this movie, Anushka was in the news because of her memes, but when the film released, it was proved that the actress can carry such de-glam characters too. Mamta surely stole our hearts with her simplicity.

Adele is finally making her move into films. The singer will appear in Cry to Heaven, the third feature from fashion designer and director Tom Ford. The story comes from Anne Rice’s novel set in 18th century Italy and follows two men brought together by music, a Venetian nobleman and a castrato singer from Calabria.
