Zoa Morani signed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Tuesdays & Fridays

Zoya Morani, the daughter of renowned Bollywood producer Karim Morani, has been roped in to play the female lead in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production venture, Tuesdays & Fridays.

The film marks the acting debut of veteran actress Poonam Dhillon’s son Anmol Thakeria. The team recently wrapped up the first schedule in London and the next schedule will commence shortly in Mumbai.


“Zoa recently joined the cast and plays an NRI settled in London. The team has completed a month-long shoot in the Queen’s City and will kick-start the Mumbai schedule shortly. Zoa won’t be a part of it,” said a source close to the film.

Tuesdays & Fridays is being jointly produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions and T-Series. It is directed by Taranveer Singh.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
