When a superstar called up Pranutan Bhal to praise her performance in Notebook

Late legendary actress Nutan’s granddaughter and veteran actor Mohnish Bahl’s daughter, Pranutan Bahl surely had a lot of things to prove with her debut film Notebook. She impressed one and all and received a lot of praises for her performance in the film. As the movie now gears up for its digital release, we recently met Pranutan and her co-star Zaheer Iqbal and interacted with them about the film, the appreciations they received and many other things.

When we asked Pranutan about one appreciation that has stuck in her heart, she said, “A lot of people have been calling up and appreciating both our works and even the film. I feel very happy when people say that it is a great film. For me, that is a huge compliment. Recently, a senior actor also called and said that you are really good. So, it feels nice to have that kind of validation.”

When probed who that senior actor is, Pranutan didn’t want to take the name, but Zaheer Iqbal revealed, “I want to name him, Akshay Kumar.” Well, this would surely be a big thing for Pranutan to get an appreciation from Akshay Kumar.

Notebook had hit the screens on 29th March 2019. The film will be out on Amazon Prime on 25th May 2019.
