Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra to star in Shanker Raman’s next?

Shanker Raman is a well-known cinematographer and he made his directorial debut with the film Gurgaon which released in 2017. The film starring Akshay Oberoi, Ragini Khanna, and Pankaj Tripathi had received good reviews.


Now, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Raman is all set for his next directorial and it will star Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles. A source told the tabloid, “He wanted to cast young actors as the script demands freshness, and it was an instant ‘yes’ from both Sanya and Vikrant, who loved the subject. The duo will be seen in a completely new space in this yet-untitled film.”

Meanwhile, Sanya is currently busy with the promotions of Ludo which is slated to release on Netflix on Diwali this year. The actress also has a film titled Pagglait in her kitty.

Talking about Vikrant, the actor was last seen in recently released (Netflix) film Ginny Weds Sunny. He has movies like Yaar Jigri, Haseen Dillruba and 14 Phere lined-up. After wrapping up Haseen Dillruba with Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant will start shooting for 14 Phere next month. The movie stars Kriti Kharbanda opposite him.

There have been reports that Vikrant will be seen in the Hindi remake of Tamil thriller Maanagaram. However, the movie has not been officially announced.

Apple strikes temporary deal with Google

Apple is reportedly close to finalising a deal with Google to power Siri using the tech giant’s advanced AI model, Gemini. The agreement, valued at around $1 billion per year, marks one of the biggest collaborations between two of Silicon Valley’s fiercest competitors.

The Gemini model, which has approximately 1.2 trillion parameters, will be integrated into Siri to handle tasks such as summarising information, multi-step planning, and contextual understanding , areas where Apple’s voice assistant has historically fallen behind its rivals.
