Varun Dhawan’s dance film starts rolling

Varun Dhawan’s much-awaited musical dance film, which has no official title as of now, has finally begun production. The Remo D’souza directorial mounted the shooting floor today in Punjab.

The team will wrap up the first schedule, which is of 10 days, in Punjab before flying off to London to film the longest 40 days schedule. Shraddha Kapoor, who will not be a part of the 10-day-long Punjab schedule of the film, will join the team in London.

Aside from Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, the untitled film also stars Nora Fatehi and Sonam Bajwa in important roles. Prabhudeva, Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak will also feature in the cast.

For the uninitiated, Shraddha has replaced Katrina Kaif in the project. When the film was announced last year, Kat was signed on to play the female lead in it. However, the actress had to let go of it as its shooting dates were clashing with her next film Bharat, co-starring Salman Khan.

Touted as India’s biggest dance film ever, the Remo D’souza directorial is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’souza. Though the makers of the film have not announced its official title yet, there are some reports which suggest that the film is called Street Dancer.

The film is slated to hit roll into cinemas on 8th November, 2019.
